Anna Winther Anna Winther (b. 1993) is an Icelandic visual artist that is based in Glasgow and Reykjavik. She graduated with a BA degree in fine art from Iceland University of the Arts in 2018, along with a term in the sculpture department of Edinburgh College of Art. She now studies in the MFA program in Glasgow School of Art and is a recipient of the Leverhulme MFA bursary award.    She has taken part in various group exhibitions in Iceland, Finland, Scotland and Romania and has held four solo exhibitions in Iceland. She has taken part in various residencies such as In context (Slanic-Moldova) and Arts in the Environment (Vartiosaari, Helsinki). Alongside her artistic practice she has worked as a curator for the Nordic House in Reykjavik, as a visual arts teacher and as an organizer of an art club program for young people with disabilities.
